About Us

Edwin Trebels, Founder and Chief Growth Officer at LangOptima

Our Story

For twenty-one years I worked on client-side, inside growth across marketing, sales, product, and retention. I start with the value and transformation your company creates for its customers and what your work is worth to them.

Once I understand your goal, I love bringing it to life. I love operationalising your idea, working with your teams and designing processes and a growth system. We can then work on training everybody on it and how to improve upon it and then I leave (unless you don’t want me to).

Looking back on my career, I realised I have done this about 12-18 months with new initiatives, or as the CEO’s or an executive’s sidekick, to start a new program, revitalise old ones or move from Founder-led operations to mature teams.

We can help your company now in a variety of ways; from a 2-week diagnosis, 90-day plan, fractional growth assistance (1-2 days a week), conference attendance on your behalf, quarterly (board) advice) or even full time if I'm the right choice for you.

“If you know my husband, you’d agree he is an unforgettable person. He’s wholehearted, intelligent, confident, organised, highly competent, tall, dark and handsome. Edwin’s superpowers are organisation, an intense drive to learn, zero fear of seemingly insurmountable obstacles and an unparalleled ability to talk to anyone about anything. At restaurants, he asks the waiter all about his aspirations, hopes and dreams. For our wedding, he organised everything I didn’t want to organise and took all the stress away from me. Those involved said it was the most well organised wedding, and our friends have used his organisation chart for their weddings. When the dog needed training, he basically became a professional dog trainer and then helped our friends train their dogs. When his daughters’ hair needed cutting, he learnt how to layer it. When the family wanted to go camping, he acquired all the tools and knowledge necessary for human survival. When AI burst on the world, he worked (and is working) tirelessly to learn its intricacies and find its beneficial uses to the business world and family life. The two things Edwin wants to do before he dies are to save someone’s life and to deliver a baby. I would trust him with both. I’m certain you can trust him with your company.”
