BOAT services: we design, build, and run your content orchestration

We design, build, and run your content orchestration on Blackbird.io, led by a LangOps.org-recognized pioneer working alongside Blackbird's solution architects.

When the tools are fine and the coordination is broken

In many of the teams we work with, the bottleneck isn't translation or content creation itself. It's the coordination between the systems around it. Translation sits in one tool, your CMS in another, your support desk in a third, and your AI models somewhere else again. Every handoff between them is manual, slow, and easy to break.

Business Orchestration and Automation Technology (BOAT) is the layer that closes those gaps: it connects your systems and automates the flow of content and context between them, across languages, formats, and platforms. We build that layer on Blackbird.io. What the platform is and how it works lives on the product page. This page covers the service: when to bring us in, and how we work.

When to bring us in

  • Every market launch rebuilds the process. Expanding into a new country means re-wiring translation, review, and publishing by hand, every time.
  • People are the integration. Your team spends hours each week moving content between the CMS, the translation tool, the support desk, and the spreadsheets in the middle.
  • AI is wanted, governance is missing. You want AI models in the content flow, but you need human review, brand control, and an audit trail before you can trust it.
  • Nobody owns the plumbing. Engineering has no capacity for content integrations, so process owners glue tools together by hand and hope nothing changes.

How we work: three parts

  • Map. We sit with your team and trace where content actually moves and where it stalls. Out of that comes one agreed answer: the first workflow worth automating, the one that returns the most time.
  • Build. We design and build the workflows in Blackbird, working alongside Blackbird's solution architects. Pre-built apps where they exist, custom-built ones where they don't, and checkpoints wherever human judgment belongs in the flow.
  • Run and hand back. The first workflow goes live, we measure the time it returns, and we hand your team a motion it can run without us. We stay as close, or as far, as you need.

Who you'll work with

LangOptima is a certified Blackbird.io implementation partner. The work is led by Edwin Trebels, who has spent more than twenty years in localization and content operations and is recognized as a LangOps Pioneer by LangOps.org. You get someone who has designed and run these pipelines himself, not just advised on them.

One example: for a non-profit running thousands of translation and audio-to-text jobs a year on manual processes, we designed a component-based workflow factory with Blackbird as its backbone. It removed roughly 40 hours a week of manual localization admin. The full story is in the case study.

Additive, not a rip-and-replace

BOAT doesn't replace your localization or content tools. It makes the ones you already have work together. No migration project, no platform to rip out. We connect what you run today and automate the parts that slow you down.

One pipeline, every market

Expanding into a new country should not mean rebuilding your process each time. Once your CMS, translation, support, and AI systems run as one orchestrated flow, a launch in one market becomes a launch in many: content moves, gets translated and adapted, and lands in every locale through the same governed pipeline. Publish once, route everywhere, with a human check where brand and compliance matter.
