● IN THEIR WORDS

Edwin's transfer to the UK will prove a considerable challenge for me. He will be greatly missed, and I reckon it will be nearly impossible to find a suitable replacement. Without hesitation, I recommend him. Frankly, you'd be crazy not to hire him.

Fixed scope

Three parts, deliberately simple

1
Look inside
Your numbers, your pipeline, and six to eight executive 1:1s. That's the evidence the read is built on.
2
Score the surface
All seven growth pillars scored against that evidence and placed on the five-stage curve, so you see where the surface is leaking and why.
3
See the next move
A short executive document that turns what the read surfaces, often more than one thing, into a clear direction: the constraint worth fixing first, and the decision that's yours to make.

How it works

The inputs. Six to eight executive interviews that score each growth pillar against evidence, plus a read of your funnel metrics and existing pipeline data.
The output. Every pillar scored, your growth function placed on the five-stage curve, and a short executive document that names what to fix first, walked through with you.

The instrument: the Full-Surface Growth Model™

Operational excellence has had scored maturity models for decades; EFQM is the one many European organizations use to assess how well their operations run. The Full-Surface Growth Model™ is inspired by that discipline, deliberately lighter, and built for the growth function. Seven pillars, from demand through acquisition, activation, conversion, retention, expansion, and referral, each scored on observable evidence: who owns the pillar, which metric it steers by, and whether anyone reviewed that number last week. The scores roll into a single number out of 100 and place you on a five-stage maturity curve.

Evidence sets the score. A pillar counts as measured only when it tracks the metric that actually governs it. A dashboard full of activity numbers scores differently from one number a team steers by.
One name against each pillar. A pillar counts as owned only when a single person is accountable for it, not a group that all touch it. Where a pillar has no clear owner is usually where the surface leaks.
Weak retention can't hide. A deliberate rule holds the overall stage down while the post-sale side leaks, however strong acquisition looks. A leaky bucket scores like one.
The stage names the next move. Your placement on the five-stage curve points to the constraint worth fixing first, so the next two quarters go to the right problem.

You keep the full scored assessment alongside the executive document: a named baseline for your growth function. Re-score it each quarter and progress shows up in the number.

Want a quick first taste?

The free Growth Diagnostic Lite asks 14 short questions and emails you your single biggest growth leak, your score on a red-to-green scale, and a modeled ROI figure, in a few minutes, free. If you want the ROI numbers built on your own figures, have your revenue numbers handy: seven of the questions have an optional field for what that area could be worth to you per year. If the leak it surfaces rings true, this two-week Diagnostic is the full scored read behind it.

The foundation of what follows

The Diagnostic is where the bigger engagements start. Its scored read and findings become the day-one plan for a 90-day Growth Sprint, so the quarter opens executing rather than investigating. And the same arc, diagnostic first, then the 90-day plan, opens the first quarter of a Fractional CGO engagement. Whichever path fits, the full Diagnostic fee is credited against a Sprint or Fractional engagement signed within 30 days.

Why start here

Low commitment, a fixed two-week scope, and nothing wasted: the read stands on its own or becomes the plan. Fit before terms, so there's no price on this page. The first step is a short discovery call to discuss how the Diagnostic would work for you, before you book anything. Usually a fit for post-raise B2B SaaS founders where no single person owns growth yet.
